All the circuits should be designed using discrete components (like resistor/diode/capacitor/transistor/MOSFETs)
and Operational amplifiers only. Use of ICs is prohibited unless stated otherwise.
The Participants are not allowed to use logic circuits (like Logic gates, Flip-Flops) directly, using ICs or otherwise. To use logic circuits, implement them using discrete components only.
The circuit has to be made in a circuit simulator software like LTSpice (recommended) and simulated in it to check the working of circuit.
The file along with a report (In PDF/Word format) explaining the working of circuit needs to be submitted.
Report should not exceed 500 words. Explaination should be as concise and clear as possible. Support the report with simulation
results of output ( and of other things if asked in question).
There will be optional part in each question. No points will be deducted if it is not done, but bonus points will be offered if done.
Optional part will be loosely framed so that individual participants can use their imagination and creativity to reach the desired
goal in whichever way they like to.
The event will be held over 2 days. On the first day, first problem set will be released (which would contain 2-4 questions).
On second day, next problem set will be released (No of question will depend on the participation and performance on first day).
Participants will have to register before the registration deadline. Solutions from unregistered participants will be rejected.
There is no time limit to complete all the problems, but the faster you go more problems you score!
Judgement Criteria
Each question will carry 100 points (Excluding points for optional part).
Out of 100 marks, 30 points is for getting desired output from circuit. Output waveform and other waveforms asked in question need to
be added in report for evaluation of these.
30 points is for circuit and the report. This will be evaluated based on:
If participants used the given principles in questiion to design the circuit or not.
How well the circuit is explained (You can use block diagrams/ logic circuits like gates/ flip-flops etc to make the working of circuit easy
of circuit easy understand)
40 points is reserved for originality, innovativeness and practicality of design.
Optional part will cary 50 points. This will be evauluated on case by case basis as long as final objective is met.

Submission
How to Submit?
Design using simulation software. like LTSpice (recommended).
Make a report(pdf, word) explaining the working of the circuit.
Upload the above files to Google drive and provide the link in submission form.
